GRACE BAPTIST CHURCH
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe Jesus Christ is Lord
and Savior, and the Bible is the divinely inspired word of God which serves as the final written authority for living out the Christian faith.
We believe there are two ordinances:
believers' baptism and The Lord's Supper (Communion).
We believe the committed individual
believer can and should be in direct relationship with God, interpret Scripture with the help of the Holy Spirit, and share his/her individual gifts of ministry.
We believe in taking seriously the call to
evangelism and missionary work, and evangelism involves speaking grace rather than guilt.
We believe God has called the church to
worship, share the Good News, make disciples, and meet the needs of people.
We believe in supporting religious freedom
and respecting the expressions of the faith of others.
We believe in acknowledging God's
family extends beyond our local church, and God calls us to cooperative ministries.
We believe as Christians we have been
called to be Christ’s witnesses for justice and wholeness within a broken society.
We believe in celebrating the racial, cultural,
and theological diversity witnessed within the church.
We believe in heeding the biblical call to
renewal and the need for a vital witness in a new millennium.
