Mar. 26- Ch. 26

Most non-believers see Jesus as a wuss during this time.  But when you read words coming from Jesus like, “Do you think that I cannot appeal to my Father, and he will at once send me more than twelve legions of angels?”, you realize how strong he really had to be not to invoke that kind of power.

It’s interesting to read about the disciples during the time of the betrayal. Jesus said to them “All of you will be made to stumble because of Me this night”. All said they would not deny him even if they would have to die. In verse 56 it states that all the disciples forsook him and fled. My life was not in danger but at times my acceptance with the group I was with was. I thought about these times. There are far too many of them where I have denied my faith or gone against it. Some of them occurred just shortly after a vow I would never do something like that. The crow of the rooster or something else would awaken me to what it was I did.
