October 19- John 19

Vv. 7-8 read,  The Jews answered, “We have a law, and by that law he must die because he claimed to be the Son of God.  When Pilate heard this, he became even more scared.”  I think it is interesting that Pilate, a Roman, a pagan, might of understood more of Jesus as “the Son of God” than the Jewish leaders.  The idea of Jesus being who said he was definitely had some kind of impact on Pilate.
