Oct. 27- Ch. 27

Recently I was reading the book by Lee Stroble, The Case for Christ.  In the book, one of the arguments against Christianity Stroble investigates is the Swoon Theory.  The argument goes like this:  Jesus didn’t actually die on the cross.  He was only passed out (or he swooned), and after he was taken off the cross he was nursed back to health.

To investigate this argument, Stroble interviews a man who goes into graphic detail of what the crucifiction was like.  I cannot imagine any man being able to go through all that pain and anguish, let alone the God of the universe!

  1. Sharon Owen says:

I suspect the Roman soldiers were pretty adept at determining who was dead and who wasn’t.
