Aug. 24- Ch. 24

Jesus says in this chapter, “And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven.” Surely he is not talking about all his followers as well? Or is he? Not sure what he is trying to say here.

  1. Larry Martin says:

I think that the believers will mourn also. Before God comes there will be wars. There will be pestilances, earthquakes, betrayals. The love of many will grow cold because of lawlessness. There will be the tribulation. It will be greater than any thing we have experienced before. I know that when I see The sign of the Son of Man appearing in heaven I will mourn. It is at the appearance of this sign that the tribes of men will mourn. I will mourn for those lost to betrayals, pestilances, earthquakes. I will mourn for those that are not of the elect. I will mourn for that which God was leading me to do at the time of the tribulation that I did not do for a number of reasons. I will mourn for the world, no matter how bad, that I knew that will be no more. At this time man will also see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. I will rejoice that the tribulation is over. I will rejoice on being with Jesus and be gathered onto Him. I will both rejoice and mourn.
